Future Plans... CPD Planning Webinar
The NSW Government is embarking on a significant new planning policy reform agenda that, when implemented, will have far reaching impacts across the industry.
Planning policy is seeking to catch up to the changes and demands in housing that has been evident for years, by formally recognising varying household typologies and facilitating greater choice for people and new investment.
The recent explanation of intended effect for a Design and Place State policy is the Government’s plan to re-set what constitutes design-built environments. It’s a principles-based policy at its heart, but also seeks to usher in a wave of new mandatory considerations and more stringent design performance outcomes.
Have they got the balance right and will it positively shape a better site and wider precinct development outcomes for users and the community?
Join us on May 31 with our 3 industry experts, who will offer their thoughts on the proposed changes and debate the impacts for development and design.
