The Future Normal - Design, Building & Property - Webinar

If you are an architect, builder, engineer or property professional right now, you'll be addressing the immediate challenges - staff, cashflow, customers and balancing projects.

While we don't know what the future holds, we do know that design, construction, and building materials will have a vital role to play in a post-pandemic recovery of our communities and economies.

Is it possible to reimagine a "new normal" where Architecture and Construction can emerge stronger? - What are the moves you can make today to come out ahead later and be part of a revived Building industry?

Mecca is pleased to present a webinar that predicts the future for architecture, building and property over the next 12 - 24 months and provides practical advice on how to prepare your business for the new normal.

We've brought together 3 experts from banking, design and building, who will each present their own perspectives on:

  • The external market and impacts on Commercial property - immigration, building permits/process/Government stimulus.

  • Banks views on the Development process and key risks over this period? Builder/Developer relationship, feasibility, location, valuations.

  • Forecasts for construction activity over the next 2 years.

  • Changes to existing architecture and interior design of offices and residential buildings.

  • Current restrictions on building sites and how to best adapt.

  • Changed preferences amongst purchases of residential and office developments - will space be the new requirement over luxury?

  • COVID impacts on Commercial property sub asset classes - office, retail, industrial, etc

  • Will there be a growth in "healthy building" principles among designers and developer clients?

  • Building supply chain impact - how can builders deal with the inevitable hold ups and delays?

  • Future Proofing your practice/business - Challenges and opportunities and key actions that you need to take to best prepare your business for the new normal?

Cost to attend is $70 per person plus GST. Save 20% when you book for a group of 4 or more. Purchase includes a recording of the webinar.
